I am passionate about developing visual properties ranging from book titles, product branding, character art, and more. I welcome the challenge of producing art for various subjects ranging between commissions, children’s books, comics, sports, politics, marketing and branding, products, social media, and much more.
“What you do, comes back to you” – Karma-
Meet Karma, he is a individual with mystical powers and a flair for style. He has an unusual awareness about things similar to Guinan in Star Trek: The Next Generation played by Whoopi Goldberg and abilities akin to Dr. Strange from the Marvel Universe, and he can be a little bit a flirt at times.
Karma is one of many amazing characters features in the book, “The Greenville Triangle,” by Eric Cooper. The Greenville Triangle is an Action Adventure story about Black Wall Street now available on Amazon.
I was commissioned by chef and independent author Robert Liddell to illustrate his vision and project. Together, Robert and I created a fun and engaging activity book for children titled "Alex and Friends." I was inspired by Robert's connection to his family and community. All of the characters in the book were created in the memory of his loved ones which inspired the very unique challenge to transform the faces of his loved ones into cartoon characters.

This year I wanted to find a way to use my artwork to give back to the world in a unique way that speaks to me. I discovered a wonderful gem called "The Superhero Project" on my social media stream and quickly signed up my services to become an artist for the project. Lisa Kollins, the organizer of the project, signed me up with Power Tay and provided me with as much information as she could about my young hero partner - all of his likes and interests, his powers and abilities, and his personality - so that I could capture his truth as accurately as I possibly could.

Learning the process of creating caricature art was not necessarily intentional in my art journey, but it’s a skill I am deeply appreciative to have learned. Caricatures has been a great way to experiment with adding style, personality, and dynamic energy that I feel my art needed. Caricatures teaches me how to explore features, study shapes, and manipulate likeness in unique ways that creates a new level of fun in my creational process.
Since the breaking news, I've had intentions of drawing a caricature of Chadwick Boseman because I'm a deep fan of his work and legacy. May he rest in peace. I debated with myself on whether or not I would illustrate his role as the Black Panther or if I would just illustrate him as a stand alone influencer. My goal was to honor the whole of his legacy, not just the reality that he personally impacted in my life. Ultimately, the end result was to just illustrate him, but I did begin some sketches of the Black Panther influence to see if that was the direction I wished to go. My process begins with some light blocking out of the figure in the Sketchable App, then transitioned to Clip Studio Paint for the final render.

Here’s the first commission I created at the launch of my digital store. My friend Erica decided to lend me a hand in the launch of my store and sent me this image to begin working from.
I can make you one just like it! Visit my Commission’s Page to learn more.
I had the opportunity to draw a great friend in his cosplay creations as a caricature. I love the cosplay community and the creativity they bring to the characters they love to see in fiction, and I am overjoyed to share in the style they bring to the table with my art. The cosplay community is but one of many communities affected by the pandemic and the social distancing policies the world has adopted to combat the virus. I hope to draw many more cosplay projects in the near future.
I had tons of fun creating this caricature.
A high school friend reached out to commission me for an art project for his wife's birthday and it fell right in line with the cosplay caricatures I began doing with my store. I was to turn his wife into Storm from the X-Men and I got my chance to draw another superhero caricature. I had a lot of fun with this and made a few decisions with the process to really play with likeness of both the comic character and the muse.
I received an order from a loving mother to create a fantastic memory of her son. She wanted to create a caricature of her son that matched a theme based on his love for bowling and the time he enjoys with his friends and family.
I served as a sponsor for the CON*Cosplay Photo Contest and offered my digital caricatures as a prize for the winner of the contest. I sponsored the Animation division of the contest, which was won by Michael Bigay. You can view the process below and follow the artist whom inspired the work on Instagram at @MicVeeCosplay

A good friend of mine reached out to have a caricature of her and her husband commissioned. When I drew live, my favorite demographics to draw were couples and families. I was happy to create that memory for them using my style of art. I aimed for something that felt very natural and homely.
A client reached out to me to place an order for a caricature for his business. I am happy to have my caricature store be able to serve people in such a way that they can use my art to grow their own agendas, and got to work immediately crafting his order.

Fan art, crazy character designs, art challenges, and random internet trends offer great opportunities for me to test new skills or just have plain fun. Personal projects are a great way for me to keep myself on my toes, experiment with different styles, and challenge my comfort zone with my work,
I decided to join the internet hype of doing Bowsette Art. I used the photo reference of a cosplayer to create the facial features of Bowsette. I want to create a look that pulls her out of the more anime-like design she carries from the Mario games and some other artwork I've seen of her. I also wanted to maintain the sex appeal of the character without becoming too adult, so I wanted to choose a facial expression and look that creates an alluring feeling.

October is always a very festive month for drawing the craziest things. For 2020, I celebrated by bringing in my favorite Halloween memory and illustrate a tribute to Michael Jackson's Thriller.
